Protect Your Airspace

Airports

VIP Locations

Drones are a real threat to airports, military bases, utilities, stadiums and public gatherings.

LANTA Group has the solution.

The threat of drones is no longer hypothetical, it’s imminent. Drone “attacks” are happening every day (read about them here). Whether it’s an airport, a military base, or even just a local public venue, drones are on the rise and now is the time to act.

LANTA Group has a solution for any installation type. Our solutions are scalable, flexible and best of all integratable with other, third-party systems and technologies.

In order to detect a drone, you must have a combination of multiple technologies. Since drones are capable of flying at extremely low altitudes, they are not always detectable by traditional, line-of-sight technologies such as radar and laser used for aircraft detection. The other major concern for drones, or UAVs, is that while most are remotely controlled, they can also be operated completely autonomously using waypoints and schedules (I.E. a drone could be scheduled to liftoff at a later time and fly by waypoint to a destination of choice – it could be placed days before actually being used.)

Our system was designed to detect both 1) Drones that are not remote-controlled and 2) Drones in an environment where there is no line of sight (I.E. heavy forest, trees, buildings, etc.)

Drones can be misused in many different ways:

The problem is simple, airspace, but the solution is also simple: Detect and deter before it’s too late!

With a range of about 1000 meters, we are able to detect a drone many times before it evens lifts off the ground. Using multiple sensors we can also narrow down the location of the operator, when they are in range.

Once a drone is detected, defense systems can go into action. The first of which is typically a surveillance system. Using triangulation and special algorithms, we can track the drone and guide cameras to capture it on screen and in recordings – automatically. Next, we can take action on the drone. For example, cloaking devices for sensitive sites (fog bomb, shutters/blinds, locks, disabling Wifi, etc.) or anti-drone counter-measures for authorized sites (jamming signals, deploying anti-drones, EMP, fog bombs, Lasers, etc.) can be deployed. Lastly, notifications can be sent to local security officers, neighboring buildings, air traffic control, or other interested parties. With an open API platform, any number of actions can take place at any stage of the intrusion.

All of this can be done from one simple interface.

The Solution

Secure Your Airspace Now

Our system provides an automatic, integrated, and self-contained platform that delivers drone classification and countermeasures to secure against drone threats and their operators 24/7. It is the only modular system on the market that can be customized to address site-specific threats, adapted for easy integration to an existing security program, and accommodates unique building structures, landscapes, and other exterior conditions.

Platform for Airspace Monitoring

The software platform provides a complete airspace monitoring and management solution through a convenient browser-based interface. It allows users to readily configure multiple sensors, active and passive countermeasures, and alerts for automatic, 24/7 operation. The software continuously displays real-time airspace information and classifies drones using the DroneDNA advanced analysis and pattern recognition capabilities. Defensive measures against hostile drones can be activated automatically, with security service providers notified as appropriate.

Automated, Scalable, Advanced

The system is a sophisticated software-based drone classification and counter-drone platform for all kinds of applications.

Airspace Surveillance 24/7

Our system automatically classifies, issues alerts, and records evidence to identify and assess potential threats, and can automatically trigger offensive or defensive countermeasures if needed.

Automated Alarm & Notification

The system notifies you with an alarm as soon as it senses the approach of a drone. You decide which channels you wish to be used for notification: SMS, user interface, e-mail, network (TCP/IP), SNMP or Pushover.net.

Forensic Evidence

All drone flights are recorded and stored locally. The RF Sensor passively collects details about the drone and can identify repeat offenders. The next logical step is to enhance situational awareness, for which the software uses cameras. Video cameras are used to classify accurately whether detected objects are drones or not, as well as to record video evidence — including the flight path of drone.

Simple Configuration

You can configure your software quickly and easily with the browser-based user interface. Each sensor can be set individually to achieve optimal detection results.

Cloud Service

We offer you remote system configuration support, troubleshooting, and software updates at any time. If your system is not connected to the internet for security reasons, we provide updates on an external data carrier.

Future-Proofed

A software-first approach with over-the-air updates future-proofs customers by making sure their installations stay up to date automatically. We continuously collect the specific characteristics of new drones in order to generate special drone signatures—known as DroneDNA. These signatures are stored in a central, cloud database and are used for drone recognition and identification purposes.

Scalable & customizable

By combining several sensors, large spaces and sites in urban areas with complex layouts can be monitored and scaled effectively. All sensor data is combined and processed centrally.

Multi-Sensor Analysis

Our aerial intrusion detection platform provides early warning of malicious drone activities through one or more sensors. The RF Sensor is the foundation of your drone detection solution. Video sensors may be added to aid detection and to provide real-time view as well as archived evidence. More external sensors can be integrated into the platform via API.

Automated Push To 3rd Party API’s

The system can be connected to your existing security system using its extended API access to communicate with existing sensors. For example, previously-installed surveillance cameras could be integrated. Additional, third-party security products such as automatic blinds, fog bombs or jammers can also be connected using the API.

Technical Support

Our technical support team will help and advise you on site during the planning, installation and optimal configuration of your system. If you have any technical questions, we will also be happy to provide support via hotline and e-mail.

RF Sensor

The software in combination with the RF Sensor is able to detect drones and remote controls by their radio frequency (RF) signatures. We detect all drones connected through RF or WiFi, including the entire DJI product line.

Early Warning System

The RF sensor constantly searches a wide frequency band, classifying signals so customers get early warnings — often before drones are even in the air.

Start Protecting Your Airspace Now

Nearly all commercially-available drones use radio signals, both to receive control commands from the remote control and to transmit data such as video or telemetry. Dedrone has significantly improved the performance of its RF sensor to detect these radio signals.

The greatest benefits for customers are

  • increased detection range
  • early alerting of switched-on remote controls
  • reliable classification of drones

Multi Sensor

You can mount the Multi Sensor permanently to facades or special poles, in order to survey a defined section of the sky 24/7. For mounting the Multi Sensor, we have multiple mounts.

Developed for the permanent use at

  • Prisons
  • Industrial facilities
  • Government facilities
  • Embassies
  • Nuclear power plants
  • Private buildings

Drone Detection Radar

Detection systems need to maintain their capabilities under low visibility conditions and in urban environments full of obstacles and moving objects. The Drone Detection Radar is specifically designed to meet these challenges.

The radar system covers a full 360 degrees view. It detects larger fixed wing targets at a range of nine kilometres, and smaller multi-rotor drones detected at up to three kilometres. However, completely securing an area, requires more than just range detection. It requires flexibility, reliability and provides unlimited coverage through its ability to combine multiple radar devices in

to an integrated sensor network. The output from multiple sensors is incorporated into one unambiguous picture.

Modular UAV Jamming System

The jammer system uses H.P.’s Direct Digital Synthesis Sweep and dedicated software to maximize its effectiveness. The system enables the operator to program the system quickly using a Windows®-based notebook or USB stick in order to adapt to any given threat scenario or use the system as tactical jammer.

The jammer system will jam drones using GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, WLAN 2.4 GHz and from 5000-6000 MHz.

It is a field proven system and used in several missions e.g. to protect events, VIP´s etc.

Accessories

  • Omni Directional antenna set
  • Modular System –Upgradable-
  • Notebook
  • DDS Controller Software for dedicated system programming

The event kit is a fully self-contained portable solution for detecting drones. It can be used to give the user automated drone awareness at public events, concerts, sport and outdoor theatrical shows; any event where drone activity is unwanted.

All the sensor support equipment is integrated into a robust professional case, including tripods, battery, router and safe stowage for the Multi-Sensor and RF Sensor. As a package, it is all you need for effective, automated, in-the-field detection of drones using passive sensors.
